UPA on BET!

We have some very exciting news:  UPA will be featured on a special about Detroit on BET this Saturday (9/12) at 9:30 p.m.  Spread the word and tune in!

    Hi Mrs. House! I got off work late and I was not able to make it on time to the open house and I truly apologize. I wanted to let you know that I uploaded some of James Birthday pictures on his page at his request and he is very excited. I know that I have an appointment with you next thurs. James also told me that he was testing... how is that going? Well have a great day!

    Hi Mrs. Ushery! Don't worry about missing back to school night, I will post all the information on our website when I get a chance so you'll know what we talked about. I was looking at James' wiki page with him yesterday, and it's very exciting to see that he's already interested in and using his wiki page! We will be learning more about the wiki pages and what I'd like them to put on there as the year progresses.
    We have been in the process of taking all of our pre-assessments, reading level tests, and MAP testing for ELA, math, and reading (MAP is a digital test that is used a predictor for the MEAP). Everyone has been doing incredibly well, and I couldn't be happier. James is certainly showing what a capable, bright young man he is, and I am delighted to have him as part of our class family!
